‘ BIG CHIEF ’ retro bicycle light- NEW and only HERE!
Today in shop news – it’s time for old school bicycling fun! Since purchasing my 1964 Sears Deluxe Spaceliner Bicycle, I’ve discovered the fascinating world of pre-war and newer tank bicycles and accessories. While snooping on the internet, I stumbled across a picture of some really neat accessory lights and decided to reproduce them ‘Uncle Al’ style.
Re-Introducing ‘BIG CHIEF’ (as I call him) Bike Lights, which mount to front or rear wheel axels. The 308 stainless steel post has a mounting loop that is just over 3/8″ diameter which slips comfortably over the axel threads capturing the axel with the wheel mounting nut. Depending on what type of lighting source you’re using, the wire lead can be attached to the positive side of your battery installation or to the wiring terminals of your dynamo/headlight system. The stainless post on the light serves as the ground.
These lights look GREAT on new bikes, vintage bikes and beach cruisers. They come in a variety of solid colors or the deluxe version hand painted in my traditional fashion.
