The toy features jumping cat and skeleton, vampire/witch behind the front door, eerie whistling and spooky sounds, floating ghost behind one window and a rising lowering window shade witch in the other. Top it off with a shaking roof and shutters, and you have a masterpiece, wonderful toy that has no rivals. This toy requires 3 new 'D' cell batteries for operation, inserted into the cover on the back of the house. PLEASE remember to remove the batteries from your toys after operation and vintage battery toys should be operated at least once a month to keep the mechanisms from seizing. As you add your quarters, dimes and nickels, Ben Franklin tallies them up. When you've saved ten dollars, the side door to the bank will open and you can retrieve the coins! This is an excellent, vintage boy/girl gift and teaches children the value of saving their change. Marx Mother Goose lithographed tin wind-up toy. A beautiful, whimsical work of early American tin lithography art that works perfectly when wound. Mother Goose and her favorite feline will prance around the tabletop in a fanciful, hopping fashion. Mother holds the original reins while the goose hops and shakes her head to the motion. This toy has been a beautiful cabinet display piece for many years and a highlight of the Uncle's vintage tin collection.

When activated, the tree comes to life with Bump N Go action, piercing whistling sound, moving eyes and arms and rocking treetop. The toy is in marvelous, original working condition and is a valuable collectible. The litho is crisp and the toy has very few surface imperfections. All of our reproduction parts are created from a duplicating process (NOT 3D!) using original toy parts. Parts such as this one, which feature electric, lighted components, are thoroughly researched and materials are used that most closely create the function of original parts. Correct diameter brass tubing is used on the base of the antenna for seamless, constant electrical contact just as the original part. This is done to ensure perfect fitting and authentic replacement parts that require no refinishing or altering prior to installing on your vintage toys. The results are undeniable and sure to please. We also employ this process when re-creating our tin and metal parts, which are always pre-fitted to an original toy prior to shipping to you.

The Colonel is sporting new replacement oxygen tanks, a new antenna ring and insulator and a replacement antenna from an unknown source. Hap walks with correct arm movement and spinning, flashing antenna. Haps arms can be positioned as desired. This toy has been thoroughly cleaned and restored to top condition by my professional restoration business, with the exception of minor paint chips, scratches and blemishes. Black boots have minor touch ups as well as other black features on the toy.

A new Marx Race Cars Replacement Small Driver Single Pin. The part is cast in the white color as shown. Please see my other listing offering the dual mounting pin driver. It is a bit larger and fits the larger race cars and roadsters. These replacement drivers are the nicest available and fit perfectly just as the originals.

A new, replacement metal helmet ring and fiber insulator for the Marx Colonel Hap Hazard battery operated Robot and the Marx Hi-Bouncer Moon Scout Robot. These parts are commonly missing from the toy because of aggressive removal of the lighted antenna. The ring and fiber gasket design keeps the lighted antenna from shorting out during operation. We fabricate these parts from original toy parts for dimensional reference. Test fitting each part to the original toy ensures a hassle free, easy installation.
