Out of stock1929 Buddy L #208 Transportation Company Bus, 100% Original - This is one of the finest, all original, heavy pressed steel toy busses that you will ever see. This Buddy L Transportation Coach is in incredible, 100% original, unrestored condition with the original leather pull cord still attached. At an impressive 30" length, it's one of the largest toy busses ever produced. The toy has minor surface imperfections and there is mild wear to the original aluminum wheels. As this was also considered a 'ride on' style toy, the steerable front wheels were operated by the riding child turning the spare tires on either side of the front cowl. The toy features steerable wheels and both left and right front opening doors. The original paint is time aged but remarkably few chips or imperfections. The original decals are at 90%. Plated surfaces are tarnished and left unrestored. This is a true museum piece that was acquired from a reputable, world travelled dealer of fine antiquities. There are no disappointments here. This extremely rare CIJ France Alfa Romeo P2 Wind Up Race Car DD GREEN was manufactured between the years 1925 and 1935. This comes from the private collection of a dear friend who has been collecting toy cars for over 50 years. Though the toy shows age, the patina is tremendous and is 100% all original. The wind-up mechanism is still functional and strong, the steering operates by the steering wheel and also works. I will include one of Uncle Al's custom-made wind-up keys with the purchase. Please don't confuse this toy with the re-issue Alfa P2. Quality wise, there is no comparison. Many of the details that made the original toy so authentic to the real Alfa P2 racer are missing from the re-issue. This is a nearly flawless, RARE race car and is 100% all original. The friction motor mechanism is strong and smooth. It is huge at 20" in length and 7" high to the top of the driver's helmet. This is the last known use of the Yonezawa Champion's Racer stamping dies from the 1960's. Prior to this offering by Wuco, the dies were used by Gem of France, who created and sold the #42 Super Racer. As I have owned and sold all versions of this large toy, this particular example is one of the finest I've ever seen. 1950s Ichiko Space Patrol battery operated car is in wonderful, working condition! This extremely rare toy has been in my personal collection since 2010, when I received it incomplete and in pieces. It was a very expensive purchase then, simply because the battery-operated version is SO RARE. An excellent quality Space Patrol, with its original box, sold on eBay in 2013 for nearly $32,000. Such a fun toy! When the switch is engaged, the rear drive wheel spins with clicking sound, the radar dish rotates, the Astronaut driver waves his 'No. 1' flag and the space gun on the cowl sweeps back and forth while the gun barrel flashes! The front wheels are poseable so that the car can proceed straight or drive in a circle. The tightest circle is approximately 4 feet. Please watch the You Tube video of the RARE toy in action! The toy has seen extensive playwear and the litho shows age. There has been a little touch up with ink to some of the litho. The toy was missing parts that Uncle fabricated to complete, such as the radar dish, 'No.1' flag and the flashing gun and mount. The drive mechanism is quite sound and strong. There was considerable wear to the bottom of the car, so it was chemically stripped and repainted and polished. The toy still sports the original windshield and Astronaut head. One new earmuff was fabricated and installed. I'm listing this toy at a very high price due to its rarity. I will entertain reasonable offers, and this is available locally as well as being available for international shipping.
