Out of stock1929 Buddy L #208 Transportation Company Bus, 100% Original - This is one of the finest, all original, heavy pressed steel toy busses that you will ever see. This Buddy L Transportation Coach is in incredible, 100% original, unrestored condition with the original leather pull cord still attached. At an impressive 30" length, it's one of the largest toy busses ever produced. The toy has minor surface imperfections and there is mild wear to the original aluminum wheels. As this was also considered a 'ride on' style toy, the steerable front wheels were operated by the riding child turning the spare tires on either side of the front cowl. The toy features steerable wheels and both left and right front opening doors. The original paint is time aged but remarkably few chips or imperfections. The original decals are at 90%. Plated surfaces are tarnished and left unrestored. This is a true museum piece that was acquired from a reputable, world travelled dealer of fine antiquities. There are no disappointments here. A replacement red button for the battery-operated sound box. If your Monkeemobile is missing this button, the sound mechanism is very hard to operate. Just a drop of Super Glue will bond the replacement button to the stem. The button is translucent red, just like the original. Many additional parts are available for this toy. Asahi Corp. Toys Junior Products, battery operated 1/10 scale Lotus 49 Ford F-1 formula race car, CUSTOM, in excellent working condition. This is a beautiful car that Asahi SHOULD have made but didn't. The car sports the engine cover and front spoiler from a Gold Leaf car. I painted the front spoiler in the special yellow/green paint scheme and added the large silver wing. This is car #36.
It has been in my personal collection for several years and displayed in a glass cabinet.,
The toy has a few minor playwear imperfections but nothing distressing and is still a superior condition, working example to display.

Al to check description before publishing. Asahi Corp. Toys Junior Products, battery operated 1/10 scale Lotus 49 Ford F-1 formula race car, rare winged version in excellent working, like new condition. This toy comes with the original box and instruction insert sheet. This is a beautiful, all original toy with the exception of my new reproduction rear wing.????? This is car #29. The toy has been tested and is in perfect working order. It has been in my personal collection for several years and displayed in a glass cabinet with its box. The box is about an 7 on the 1 to 10 scale with a couple of minor tears and creases. The toy has a few minor playwear imperfections but nothing distressing and is still a superior condition example to display. The toy has the original injector cover, some oxidation to the metal wheel inserts, which is common but all in all is a really beautiful toy. Engine screams and very bright flashing bulb lights up the center of the engine. An extremely clean and desirable version of the Gold Leaf Racer that is sure to please. An interesting point to note with this version of the Asahi racer's box description is that it specified the use of "2 D Cell Batteries" for operation, yet the toy actually requires 3 'C' cell batteries. This version also only offers neutral and forward motion whereas the non wing cars offer a neutral, low and high speed transmission.

The REPLACEMENT GEAR COVER for the Asahi Toy, Junior Products Lotus 49 F-1 battery-operated race car. Created from a mold taken of the original toy part, it is guaranteed to be a perfect fit. It is possible for tiny bubbles to appear in the casting, as shown in the pictures. This was my first cast part and more recent casts have been bubble-free. The gear cover can be installed on the two different engine versions of the Lotus toy. Plated engines used on the wing cars have molded bosses to mount the wing. This version utilizes the tiny mounting pins on the clear gear cover. Engines without plating are for the non-wing cars and the clear gear cover is installed with the pins removed as the engine has no holes for the pins to go into. The pins can be easily trimmed off for a flush fit. Both versions require the cover to be glued on and just a drop of super glue to each pin area is sufficient.

This is a complete set (4PCS), two guitars and two drumsticks for the 1960's Aoshin ASC Monkee Mobile battery operated car. The original parts are so often broken or missing from this toy. These are cast replacements from a mold taken from original components and are a perfect fit. I also have replacement arms, bodies, heads, engine and scoop, voice box buttons and hubcaps for this toy with pictures and pricing to come.
